The legend of the White Lady of Corno Bianco is a popular tale from the Alpine region of Valsesia. It recounts the adventures of a magical lady, mischievous elves,
and brave animals.
This project was developed by the l'Apigiana publishing house, which engaged Studio Fuffa for the graphics and illustrations. The graphics were created by Giulia Lombardo, with illustrations by Giulia Quagli, and the text was written by Cristina Marsi.
Cover variant and initial sketch.
The locations and architecture have been thoughtfully reconstructed using carefully selected references, resulting in functional, colorful, and impactful illustrations. Notably, all the settings featured in the story—such as lakes, refuges, and villages—are authentic places within Valsesia, enhancing the narrative’s connection to reality.
The costumes worn by the characters were designed to closely resemble typical
outfits from real life.
