“Sometimes belonging isn't about asking someone to fit into our world. It's about working together to build a world where everyone can belong.”

Triangle Town is a remarkable place where triangles of every size and shape live, learn, and play together. But when the Circle Family moves to town, young Circle quickly discovers that fitting in isn't always easy. Just when Circle begins to wonder if he'll ever belong, one small idea inspires a big change.
Together, the children discover that friendship isn't about being the same.
It's about making room for everyone as they are.

Initially, we analyzed the characters and their traits. It was crucial that they weren't simplistic triangles (or circles!), but rather characters with distinct personalities!
You can see that I change my mind several times here! :)
Once the features were selected, it was important to choose from various types of coloring while keeping a lively and bright palette.
After reviewing the text and determining the number of pages and format, creating an outline of the book's overall structure was essential.
In this initial sketch, the arrangement of the drawn elements and text is analyzed.
This step is crucial for achieving a harmonious final result.
At this stage, it is crucial to find reliable references to enhance credibility.
This is the final sketch. At this stage, all the elements of the illustration are finalized, and you can already envision the final result. While some additional enriching details may be added during the coloring phase, all the fundamental elements are already present at this point.
At this point, I am carefully studying the distribution of colors.
Finally, the colored illustration was inserted into the page alongside the text. Only by examining both elements together (text and image) can one determine if the completed work is of good quality.
I’ve got some fun sketches of the book’s interior to share with you!
Here is an outline of the characters.
The cover, an essential element of each book, was studied last to ensure a full understanding of the characters and settings. For the cover, we considered several different options to find the best solution.
Finally, I would like to share my favorite page from the entire book! I thoroughly enjoyed creating the large garden where all the characters can truly be themselves and happily share their passions. It was a pleasure to create the illustrations for this book, and I hope you enjoy reading it. You can purchase it here.
